Austin Worline is a Security Operations Analyst dedicated to keeping partners safe by expertly dissecting complex cyber incidents. His journey into cybersecurity started in high school through a specialized IT program, which led to early certifications and hands-on practice with platforms like Hack The Box.

Austin thrives on digging deep into lateral movement, hunting for undiscovered persistence, and analyzing obscure malware execution chains. He holds an impressive array of certifications, including OSCP, CRTO, and PNPT, alongside a Bachelor's of Science in Cybersecurity. Austin takes the stance that a dual understanding of attacker and defender methodology is crucial. Before joining Huntress, Austin gained valuable experience optimizing detections and reducing alert fatigue in the Detection Engineering department at ReliaQuest.

Austin loves working at Huntress because of the collective curiosity and commitment to thinking outside the box. When he isn't tackling the latest threat, you might find him gaming, searching for the perfect shot in photography, designing PCBs, or experimenting in his homelab—a reflection of his "I can do it all" mentality.
